June is Dysphagia Awareness Month

June is dysphagia Awareness month - which is the medical term for a variety of issues surrounding difficulty swallowing. Over the past several months Path has been working incredibly hard on swallowing and remembering how to use the muscles in her mouth and throat. The good news is that she can safely swallow and building on that we will work on regaining her ability to eat food. She does continue to make progress with swallowing and we are excited to see how she progresses over the next few months. ❤️
